Rangiora Vet Centre has been caring for animals in North Canterbury for more than 70 years. It all began in the 1960’s in a garage-like building behind a private house in Victoria Street.
Now we’re proud of our Best Practice Hospital Standards accreditation and our purpose built fully equipped vet centre, staffed by an excellent team of animal loving professionals who ensure all animals, large and small get the best possible care.
Small animal team:
The small animal team of surgical and consulting vets, nurses and support staff, across our 3 locations, are an experienced and passionate team that strives to deliver excellence to its very loyal clients. They are dedicated to offering excellence in patient care, client service and work hard on maintaining a close, friendly working environment, encouraging each other to develop and grow their passions.
The clinic wide values of excellence, empathy, respect, team, community and innovation are what the small animal team live and breathe every day.
Large animal team:
The experienced team of large animal vets and technicians are able to provide a complete package of services to lifestyle block holders with a range of animals, right through to large dairy farm units.
They operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and travel thousands of kilometres every week within the region to treat and consult on farm and in paddock. They also have facilities in-house for full medical and surgical care and frequently use the conference facilities for training and up-skilling events.
Equine Team:
The Equine team works closely to deliver a wide range of services, both in paddock and at the clinic which includes a purpose built full equine surgical facility and 6 bay stables.
Over a number of years the team has developed strong relationships with clients, and work in a team environment with a mutual desire to see clients succeed.
With a rapidly expanding client base, across all disciplines, the team of Vets are supported by enthusiastic technicians and nurses pursuing their special interests.
